What is Hafiz Helper?

The main aim of this website is to list the arabic ayahs from the Holy Quran in a format of one per line. Because none of the mushafs that I have seem to be layed out in that fashion, or if they are the arabic writing is very unclear and difficult to read and therefore difficult to memorize, I took it upon myself to create the layout exactly the way I want it via this website. I tried to set the default scale of the arabic text images so that the maximum number of ayahs fit on a page while it remains it legability. The English translation by Muhsin Khan is kept to a minimum size so as no to create any gaps between the arabic text images due to lengthy translations.

As you can see, I've used the Quran image files that are used quite often on other websites. The original gif files have unfortunately a lot of empty space in them, which doesn't allow for maximizing the amount one can print of them on a single page. I have therefore modified them in the following way: They have been cropped as small as possible, leaving only one line of pixels on each side of the background colour. This makes it possible to fit as many ayahs on one page as possible. You can download the complete collection of these images in one of the two following zip files:

When you select 'print preview' in your browser, the information bars on top and at the bottom should disappear. In my experience, the best browser to preview and ensure correct layout is in the Opera browser. Here is a screenshot of how it should look ideally:
